Flow visualization

Flow visualization aims to visualize the existing airflows in a cleanroom. To better understand or troubleshoot the airflow in your clean area, our team has developed a state-of-the-art 3D visualization to improve existing flows. Our team of technical and consulting experts will help you identify inconsistencies and issues with the airflow in your facility and provide actionable data to help you support the contamination control goals of your clean area.

The basic purpose of flow visualizations is to visualize cleanroom airflows. The low turbulence region is of particular interest when performing a cleanroom flow visualization. Within a low turbulence region, structures such as machinery, etc. often cause flow diversions and unintended turbulence.

Cleanroom flow visualization is performed using a fog generator that produces a heavy, saturated fog that is free of all toxins. This fog is applied to the air inlet under investigation and the resulting flow pattern is recorded using digital video or a photo camera. The footage is then processed into a video and accompanied by a detailed report.

As part of our complete  cleanroom qualification solutions, our Particle Measuring Systems CAS Services team has the training and expertise to conduct an informative study and help you identify areas for improvement.
